Hills & elevation is important training for all runners, love it or loathe it we must embrace it!
Accept the challenge to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest
Mount Everest is the highest point on Earth reaching 8,848 metres or 29,028 feet. You have the option of clocking up the impressive elevation in 6 or 12 months.
For this challenge we would highly recommend the use of a running app or system which tracks elevation e.g. Strava, Garmin Connect, Run Keeper etc
This challenge can be entered at any time, there is no fixed date to complete it by.
The Elevation Challenge can be entered now – just send us your evidence of the completed total climbed in metres or feet to firstname.lastname@example.org and your well earned medal will be in the post.
