ENTRIES OPENING SOON – We are waiting on permission from the Forestry Commission before opening the race for entries. After the success of 2020 we cannot wait to host this again, everything is dependant on the ongoing pandemic and working safely with the government guidelines.  We will update as soon as we can 

The 5 mile trial run that starts & finishes at Mallards Pike in the Forest of Dean.  This is not on the usual 2, 5 or 10k route, this is an off-road running race running around Mallards Pike Lake, along fire tracks and in woodland.  It is suitable for all abilities. The café and toilets will be open to use. Car parking is available (charges apply)– please see details here

This race is not open to canicross

Every race participant will receive a bespoke finishers medal with a special trophy for the first male and female runner.

RACE UPDATE 

‘As a result of Covid-19 and following Government advice we have taken the decision to postpone the Dick Whittington 4 race on May 14th to a new date of May 20th 2021 @ 7pm. Entries will be open for this event until May 18th 2021

All registered runners have automatically been transferred to the new date of May 20th 2021, sadly no refunds will be offered. However, for for those who cannot make this date we will offer you the option to do this as a virtual race, just email your name and proof of running 4 miles to registrations@finish-line-events.co.uk during the month of May and we will send you the medal in the post.

We would like to thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you all next year.’

Stay safe and keep moving where safe to do so

A brand new 4 mile off road, trail running race in Longhope. The route will see you running through stunning woodland and rolling fields with beautiful views. A technical running course with a few cheeky hills, and the 4 mile run thrown in for the challenge. Suitable for all running abilities, and ages 12 upwards.

This event is dog friendly and canicross entries are welcome – please read our terms and conditions before entering.

The race start and finish will be at the Dick Whittington Park (GL17 0PH). Car parking for this event is free, with use of the facilities for runners (and supporters!) and the cafe will be open for refreshments.  Water available at the finish line.

The race is chip timed for your all-important finish times, and a photographer will be there to capture your winning smiles.

Bespoke medals are given all participants, a trophy for first place man and first place woman to cross the line, and prizes for the first three juniors.

Registration will be open to collect your race number from 6pm, and the race will start at 7pm.  We hope to see you there!

Welcome the Summer Solstice with a fantastic trail run in beautiful woodland, taking in the wonderful views when you reach the top of the iconic May Hill.

This event is dog friendly and canicross entries are welcome – please read our terms and conditions before entering.

The trail running race is approximately 6 miles, chip timed and fully marshalled with a bespoke finishers’ medal and trophies for 1st male & female and top 3 junior runners.

Registration opens at 5.45pm, with free parking at Leaf Creative and the surrounding grounds. The race starts at 7pm. Leaf Creative will be offering a hog roast and bar for well earned refreshments!

Entries are opening on Friday 15th November with an early bird discount of £5 available until December 13th.  Sign up now and run the trails with us – see you at the finish line!

ENTRIES NOW OPEN

An exciting new Colour Fun Run is set up and ready to roll on August 29th 2021.

Based at Linton, the run is all off road around beautiful countryside.  the distance is 5K, the race will not be timed, the objective is to have fun.  You can run on your on, with friends or as a family.  On the course there will various colour stations to run through and get coloured as you go through! 

Included in the entry fee is a white branded t-shirt, 1 pack of colour powder and a finishers medal.  You have the option to add sunglasses and more colour packs at the time of entry or on the day.

The start time is 10am, registration open from 8.30am. 

There are no age limits, if they can cover running, jogging, walking or strolling the 5kms of the course, they can absolutely do The Colour Run! Anyone under 12 years old needs to be accompanied by an adult.we recommend you wear glasses or googles to protect your eyes durning the eyes.

A percentage of the profits will go to Linton Church and Diabetes charity

Cleaning colour powder after a colour run is no issue with the safe colour run powder.  The coloured powder on peoples faces, arms and legs can easily be wiped off, a shower will do the rest.  The colour powder contains no ingredients that could harm the environment.
